Caring with Cartridges

Update!

We’ve had success so far! During the months of October and November, we collected and redeemed 47 cartridges, generating 92 dollars. We donated all of this money to Golden Harvest Food bank, which bought 368 meals for local people in the Augusta area!

We’ll continue this ministry as long as there is interest!

What’s this all about?
We’re collecting and recycling printer cartridges, then donating the proceeds to local charities.

Who is doing this?
We’re a group of people form Vineyard Community Church. To find out more about our church, see the About Us section of this Web site.

Why are you doing this?
We want to serve our community in a practical way–to do something that makes the world a little better place.

When will you be back?
We’ll be back to pick up the cartridges on Monday, November 6. Just put them in this bag and leave it hanging on your doorknob!

Upcoming Events

We also meet every Sunday at 10:00 am to worship God together, and at 5pm for Sunday evening discipleship. Please click the link to the left for a complete schedule.

About VCC

At VCC, we believe that church is not a function: it is a family. Our religion is only as alive as we are, the people that pursue it. So, rather than acting as an organization, we want to act as an organism. We have no time for casual contacts and meaningless formalities. We are a fellowship on an adventure towards the stuff of God. Church means worshipping God together, studying the Bible together, fixing our cars together, hiking together, eating together, playing together, praying together... enjoying the warmth of the Holy Spirit in all parts of our lives together, not just in appointed meeting times.
